Hospice isn’t about dying any more. It’s about living. Living to your fullest extent in the time God has given you.

No one wants to put their loved one on hospice. Yet, hospice exists to fulfill that void we feel deep down within ourselves we have when caring for a loved one and we feel very alone. More importantly, hospice exists so you don’t feel abandoned during this dire time of need. Yes, your loved one needs you. Yes, you need to cook, clean, take care of finances, make sure your loved one’s needs are being met, while also at the same time try to keep track of your life.

How can anyone do this? The first step is to realize you are not alone. We all get overwhelmed, and we all feel guilty we are not doing enough. What if’s start creeping into your daily life. That is what hospice is for. To give you and your loved one support to make sure you are not missing anything.

Why fight so you can suffer more? Well, if we get rid of the pain, if we get rid of the symptoms that are bothering your loved one, the ones that are causing suffering; the mind won’t give out and give up. You get expert medical review of your charts from our physicians. They make sure you are on the medications you need to be on and off the medications which are not doing anything any more, or worse making your condition worse!

Do you really offer things that are typically not normal or outside of the norm? Does out of the box thinking actually happen? We address medications to make sure you are on the right ones. Most doctors never think about using certain medications long term, on hospice we can do that. Yes, these medications/interventions can give a patient who is on hospice more energy. Patients are less tired, feel better, and are comfortable. These interventions leads to our patients living longer, happier, symptom free lives.

Yes others can do this also, but they don’t. Why? They don’t have the processes to do it consistently, and they don’t have the physicians who are trained to think outside of the box. So…, there is a chance my loved one can live longer with hospice?
